Murphy! {Taiwan}

I was excited to meet with Murphy again during our trip in November. We first met Murphy a year earlier (you can read about that visit here), so I was looking forward to seeing how he had grown.

And boy has he grown – we met with him just a few days after his 4th birthday and he’s really starting to look like a “big kid”. And he is now wearing the most adorable blue glasses!

Murphy was matching colors and naming them. His favorite color is green. He was running and jumping and kicking a ball. He strung beads for us, and built a pretty tall block tower. Murphy roared like a lion and meowed like a cat when shown stuffed animals – too cute! He was also more talkative with us this time. His caregivers say that his speech is clear and age-appropriate.

Murphy is an active kiddo who loves playing outside the best. He loves pizza and poutine. He attends pre-school and gets along with his classmates. Murphy has some delays, and is diagnosed with hydrocephalus and neurofibromatosis type 1.

Could Murphy be your son? Please email mary.chapman@gladney.org to learn more about Murphy.
