Dean {Taiwan}
Tuesday, December 6, 2016
Dean is an adorable 6 year old boy! We met Dean in October 2016 and we have some super sweet photos that show off his radiant smile.
Dean loved playing different games with us, including Legos and looking through an I Spy book. He would get very excited when he got answers to our questions right - you could tell he was proud of himself.
Dean is currently living in a foster family and he is very attached to his foster mother. He is in kindergarten and loves when the class gets to be active. He is energetic and likes playing outside. He loves playing with his friends, play toy cars, and ride a bike with training wheels.
Dean is healthy with no medical needs.
For more information on Dean, including his photos and videos, please contact Taiwan Program Caseworker, Mary Chapman, at mary.chapman@gladney.org.
Top 100 Adoption Blogs
Monday, December 5, 2016
Y'all see that big ole gold medal hanging on the sidebar over there? We are pretty proud to have made the list of the top 100 adoption blogs in 2016!
Thank you all for sharing our posts and helping the word spread about the wonderful children we meet in China and Taiwan!
And that brings us to a little housekeeping. See that new page tab at the top that says Waiting Children With Down Syndrome, well as you might guess from the title, we are using it to create a place where you can meet all of our waiting treasures who rock that extra chromosome. We are still working at it and adding to it, so be sure to keep checking in as we want you to meet all of the great kids who will be featured there! And read this post to see how dedicated we are to finding homes for these kiddos! Every child with Down Syndrome is given a $4,000 grant if adopted through Gladney!
You can contact us at superkids@gladney.org to request information on any of the children you see on this blog.
As always, sharing our posts is one of the greatest ways you can help us continue to grow and expand the reach of this blog and our program! We are excited to see what 2017 holds!

Morgan {Taiwan}

Morgan has a great smile! We met Morgan in October 2016 and we have some great photos showing off his awesome smile.
Morgan is 8 years old and has lived in the same foster family since he was 4. He has a good bond with his foster mother. His foster mother says that he is a sensitive and considerate boy, and that he is eager to be helpful around the house.
Morgan was a little shy when answering our questions, but he was confident in his answers. He has a sweet, quiet voice. He told us that he loves pizza, playing with Legos, and that his favorite subjects in school are math, science, and technology. Morgan is often lively and active when at home or in a comfortable environment.
Morgan really wants to learn to play the ukulele and read sheet music! Morgan is healthy with no special needs. Could Morgan be your son? To view Morgan's full profile which includes medical information, birth family history, and photos, please contact Taiwan Program Caseworker, Mary Chapman, at mary.chapman@gladney.org.
Hans
Wednesday, November 30, 2016
Hans is a handsome, happy little 6 year old boy. His caregivers describe him as happy, active, and popular.
We met Hans in October. He was certainly thrilled that we brought fruit snacks with us and enjoyed them to the fullest!
Hans' file indicates that he had an inter-cranial hemorrhage as an infant. He Counts to ten and his speech is clear and easy to understand. He speaks in complete sentences. He is 1st grade and is doing well in school.
He is an active little guy who likes to play ball and laugh, but he also sat down and played with Legos for quite sometime. We noted that his attention span is appropriate for a boy his age.
He walks, runs, jumps, and stands on one foot. He stacks blocks and put a little puzzle together with us.
Hans is a precious little by waiting for a family to call his own. Could he be your son? Please contact us at superkids@gladney.org for more information.
